MRT
Take the MRT to Yuanshan Station Exit 1. Walk along Yumen St., then turn left on Minzu West Rd. You will reach the entrance of Fine Arts Park Area by passing through Zhongshan North Rd.
A. Take 218, 260, 310, 247, 277, 287, 220, 612 to Tatung University. You can reach your destination at the intersection of Minzu East Rd. and Shuang Cheng St. by foot within 1~3 minutes.
B. Take 21, 40, 42, 126, 203, 208, 213, 279, 308, 677, R2, Taipei-Jinshan, Taipei-Sanzhi to Taipei Fine Arts Museum. (R2, 21, 220 are low-floor buses). You can reach Fine Arts Museum by foot within 1~3 minutes.
The EXPO Hall looks like a bamboo basket, but it can also be seen as a cocoon or ladybird – both related to the idea of flower. This is a structure that allows a great deal of sunlight and natural wind. Constructed out of a structural web of primary arch members and secondary net members, the bamboo-weaving pattern provides a steel skin of design that reduces the unit steel weight to a minimum. On the exterior, the two-colored hallow panels also incorporated the pattern of bamboo-weaving.
Available for rental to government agencies and private groups as a stage for cultural performance.
